I've been quite sick, and as such am just getting bad to life after a couple
days. If fact I just read through the past weeks messages and I have a
couple comments.


ReDesign

I'm going to get back to redesigning the SM site this weekend. The current
test pages will break as a change stuff. Once I reach a critical mass of
resolved pages, I will need to alter some global properties & there will be
breakage on the current site until I roll the new design over.

While I welcome feedback on the design, Mark's comments about the email
addresses in the sidebar being wrong are invaluable.


The Chinese Thread.

This stuff is great. I think we need people to take 'editorial positions'
from time to time and take threads like this and formalize the content into
a single message. In fact that's how it should be done -- someone needs to
write up the conclusions in a message (sent to this list), we can then start
a library of this knowledge on the SM site. (creating a page from a DG
message is easy).

If this is still an issue, I say keep the threading in the DG.
