Several of us were discussing using SourceForge today. It's useful to
discuss SourceForge and CVS. The quickest approach to getting *anything*
done is to use existing infrastructure and tools...
But I think Brent hit the nail on the head. His point, as I take it, was
that once you select a particular technology, you've pretty much limited
your goals to what can be accomplished efficiently with that technology.
But there's a lot to be gained by taking the long route of defining what
really WANTS to be done, and then finding and/or building the tools to
accomplish those goals. That's what I gather from Brent's post, anyway.
It depends more on who all wants to participate in these contrasting
approaches, rather than which is the "best" approach, AFAIK.
