After posting a (very old!!) bug to the experimental Bugz database (http://www.baylys.com:8080/bugz/), I have a few more comments.
The present fields don't allow for either discussion or a proposed fix. In the particular bug I posted, I actually created a fix (way back when), and communicated it to Userland.
Having the "magic three" bits of information in explicit fields is probably unnecessary, and is unecessarily restrictive. Though it does allow the system to require that something is entered for each of them. I'd be inclined to do one of the following:
- Replace the three entry fields with a single one, with a name like Details.
- Retain the three entry fields, but add an additional field (with a name like Details) to allow general notes, bug fixes, and workarounds to be entered.
I did add information using the Annotate button, but that's somewhat awkward for the purpose (and the comments didn't show up).

OK, I added a field called Additional Details, which is available to the bug reporter at reporting time and in edit this page
