First, thanks to Seth and everyone else for their efforts to set up this new version of the list. In the notice to digest subscribers to the previous mailing list, Seth wrote that
Unfortunately, the new list doesn't have a digest version right now. We could include one, if you'd like, but it would be a "read only" list. In order to respond to anything in the list, you'd have to go to the web site and post a response there (the url of each message would appear in the digest, making this very easy to do).
I know that you have more important things to do than pander to the whims of read-only members, but a digest version would be nice for me. "Read only" is fine -- if I want to post something (perish the thought) I can do so on the website.
